How to Send Money from BPI to GCash via the GCash App
The first way to send money from BPI to Gcash is to use the GCash app. So, make sure you’ve downloaded and verified the GCash app. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Link your BPI account to the GCash app. To do this, open the GCash app on your phone. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner, then select My Linked Accounts. Select BPI from the list of available banks. Tap Link Now and enter your BPI Online account username and password. Enter the 6-digit OTP (One-Time PIN) sent to your registered mobile number for verification.
Step 2: Once successfully connected, you can transfer funds at any time. To do this, tap the Cash In option on the main menu of the GCash app. Under the My Banks category, select BPI. Then, enter the amount you wish to transfer. Select your BPI account. Review the transaction details, then tap Confirm. Finally, enter the OTP sent via SMS to complete the withdrawal.

How to Send Money From BPI to GCash via BPI Mobile Banking
Besides using the GCash application, you can also send money via BPI mobile banking. BPI has discontinued the old “Load E-Wallet” menu. Now, transfers to GCash are completely redirected through the standard interbank transfer menu by selecting the name of GCash’s parent company, G-Xchange. Here are the steps:
Step 1: open and log in to the BPI app using your username or biometrics. Then, select the Transfer Funds menu. Tap the “Move Money” menu at the bottom of the screen, then select “Transfer Money.” Next, select the “Origin Account” and select the BPI account to be debited and enter the amount you wish to transfer.
Step 2: Select the Transfer Destination. Tap the “To another bank/e-wallet” option. Find your GCash Wallet (G-Xchange). In the list of bank/e-wallet institutions, find and select G-Xchange. Next, enter the 11-digit mobile number registered with GCash in the account number field. Enter the full name of the recipient’s GCash account holder. Double-check that the name and mobile number match. Complete the transaction with your Mobile Key authentication
There’s a fixed fee of PHP 10.00 per transaction via InstaPay. This service remains free for Preferred, Gold, and Private Wealth customers. The maximum transfer limit per transaction is PHP 50,000, with a daily cumulative total of PHP 250,000.
