As we mentioned, Maya, formerly known as PayMaya, is a digital wallet in the Philippines used for everyday transactions by many people. For those of you who want to send money from BPI to Maya, we’ve provided a tutorial.
You can send money from BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) to Maya in two easy ways: through the Maya app (by linking your BPI account) or directly from the BPI app (using the bank transfer feature). Check out the quick tutorial here!
How to send money from BPI to Maya via the Maya app
The first method is through the Maya app. This method is suitable for those of you who want a convenient way to send money to your Maya wallet using the “in cash” feature in the Maya app. Make sure you have a verified Maya account. Here are the steps to send money from BPI to Maya via the Maya app:

Other Information
If you send money directly using the Maya app (the first method), Maya sometimes offers free admin fees or special promotions. If you send money using the BPI mobile banking app, you will be charged the standard InstaPay interbank transfer fee (around PHP 10).
Then, there’s no need to wait long; transfers via InstaPay or the bank link will arrive in real time/instantly. However, in some cases, there may be delays in the transfer process, possibly caused by server issues. If you experience this or other issues, don’t hesitate to contact BPI (+63 2 8891 0000) or Maya Customer Service. We hope this helps!
