Before paying, you must have an active loan Payment Reference Number (PRN) because the SSS (Social Security System) currently uses real-time automatic recording technology.

Here are the steps to create a PRN:

  • The first step is to open the SSS website and click the “MEMBER” button. You can also go directly to the member login page.
  • Then, select the Loans menu and click Payment Reference Number (PRN).
  • Check your total bill and click Generate PRN. Don’t forget to copy or take a screenshot of the PRN code that appears.

After creating the PRN, we move on to the next important step. Once you have the PRN, you can choose a digital payment method, such as Maya, Gcash, or Shopeepay.

    • Find the Government category and click SSS Loan.
    • Next, enter the PRN number and your payment amount.
    • Check the details before confirming. If everything is correct, click confirm and complete the transaction.
  • Via the MYEG Philippines portal

    • Then enter your PRN number
    • Choose your preferred payment method, such as using a debit/credit card or bank transfer, such as through BDO, BPI Metrobank, etc.
