The SM Advantage Card (SMAC) is the official customer loyalty program (membership card) of SM Store and SM Group, one of the largest retail chains in the Philippines. How to Get an SM Advantage Card
If you don’t have an SM Advantage Card yet, you can create one online for free, for example through an app like SMAC&SHOP, available on the Google Play Store or App Store. Next, open the app and select “Register” to fill in your personal details. Alternatively, you can go through the SMAC website and fill out the digital registration form provided.
Another way to apply for an SM Advantage Card is to visit the Customer Service Counter at your nearest SM Store branch or SM retail chain. Then, you can submit your SMAC (Blue Card) application to an officer. Pay the registration fee, as mentioned above, of ₱200. Next, you can fill out the activation form provided or register yourself to start redeeming points. You can also check your SM Advantage Card points online.
How to Check Your SM Advantage Points
- The first step is to open the SMAC&SHOP app that you previously installed. Then, click “Register.” Enter your 16-digit SM Advantage Card number. The app will automatically verify that your card number is valid and then display another field for you to enter your name. Then, tap “SEND.”
- Next, enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number. If you are using a phone with your registered mobile number, the app will automatically enter the OTP. Tap “NEXT.” Complete the registration by entering the required information, such as your email address and password. (Don’t forget to remove the first “0” from your mobile number.)
- Check the box that says “I understand and agree…” and tap “NEXT.”
- Once again, enter the OTP sent to your mobile number. Tap “NEXT.”
- A pop-up notification will appear, instructing you to complete your registration by clicking the link sent to your email address.
- Open the email and click the link to complete your My SMAC registration.
- Return to the app and log in to your account using your email address and password.
- Select the offers you want to see in the SMAC&SHOP app, such as fashion, food, health and beauty, home and lifestyle, and travel and recreation. Tap “NEXT.”
- Select and answer three security questions to secure your SMAC&SHOP account. Click “Save Changes.” Tap “OK” when the pop-up appears.
- Next, you can choose to connect your Facebook account for easier login. However, this is completely optional, so simply tap “Skip” if you prefer.
- To view your account information, tap “Account” at the bottom of the screen. You will see your card number, membership date, and points balance, along with links to manage your account.
- Tap “Points Summary” to view a breakdown of your SM Advantage Card points, including the date and points earned for each transaction.
That’s it! You’ve successfully registered for SMAC&SHOP and can check your SM Advantage points. Please note that your points will be credited within 7-10 business days after the transaction.

You’ll earn 1 point for every ₱200-₱400 purchase at these participating stores. Purchases of less than ₱200 will still earn a fraction of a point. For example, ₱100 will earn you 0.25 points at SM Supermarket.
