Do you know what DMW e-registration is? DMW e-Registration is the official online registration system for Filipino migrant workers (OFWs) before they can work abroad. This system is now managed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), formerly known as the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). The Philippine government has merged the POEA with several other overseas employment agencies (such as OUMWA, POLO, and ILAB) into a new ministry called the DMW (Department of Migrant Workers).

Thousands, if not millions, of Filipinos believe that finding a high-paying job in another country is the best way to a more secure life. They dream of working abroad. However, working abroad is fraught with risks, including falling prey to human trafficking syndicates due to using irregular channels (tourist visas for work), agents or employers having their wages drastically deducted from their pay under the guise of placement or visa fees, and other significant risks. By registering with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), you ensure that you have the proper documentation and that your rights as an OFW are protected.
