Before diving into the steps, it’s important to be aware of the transfer limits and fees associated with transferring money from Metrobank to GCash.

  • Transfer Limits:
    • InstaPay: This method allows for real-time transfers of up to PHP 50,000 per day.
    • PESONet: While not as instant as InstaPay, PESONet offers a higher daily transfer limit of PHP 200,000. However, PESONet transfers have a cut-off time of 3:00 PM on weekdays. Transactions processed after this time will be credited on the next business day.
  • Transfer Fees: Metrobank charges a PHP 25 fee for successful InstaPay transfers. PESONet transfers may incur fees depending on the receiving bank. It’s always best to double-check the specific fees associated with your chosen transfer method before initiating the transaction.
